The Academy Fund continues to grow its portfolio of first-lien loans and almost doubled its portfolio in the past month! We originated our first loan in the sunshine state on a portfolio of duplexes (22 units), where the units are being sold to individual investors as rental properties. The raw land loan is with a large developer in Texas who is taking the land parcels through the entitlement process in preparation for commercial development. Loans from the Academy Fund are secured by first lien positions; it provides monthly distributions ranging 8.5% - 10% per year, and is available to all accredited investors.
